NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

It says “gift cards and tax will not be included in determining total.”

It is one that needs to be applied to your cart for immediate cash off, not one that will give you a dollar amount off at a later date or gift card.

This round I also got the $$ off offer and not the spend and get rewards offer... oh well..

I just bought 3 $100 Disney gift cards from BJ's using their $20 off a purchase of $250 or more :cool1: Plus I had $20 in rewards for two buy more, save more deals which was surprising because they usually do not let them overlap :rolleyes1 Final price: 3 $100 Disney gift cards on sale for $94.99 each, minus $20 for coupon and minus $20 in rewards so final price $244.97 :woohoo: I already used all my 5% cash back with Discover so I used a Citizens card with 1.8% cash back :rotfl2:

Good Morning! My BJ's Wholesale account had a $10 off any purchase of $75 or more coupon that I was able to clip and add to my account today! Seems to work on any Disney GC over $75 and expires June 22. Hope others got this coupon as well! :)
Thank you! I just checked and I, too, have a $10 off $75 purchase offer. Guess I'm going to BJs tomorrow!

It works to order online. I just did it yesterday.
And now I have a $100 DGC for $85, plus 1% back on my Disney VISA. I definitely should look into Discover; is the 5% back at clubs offered all the time, or is it a limited offer (and is it offered very often)?

It’s a quarterly offer. So three months. Ends this month. I have had my card two years and I think it was offered each year.

The Chase freedom card also sometimes has that offer for a quarter.

Discover has rotating categories that give the 5% up $1,500 in spend.

Every quarter the category changes.

Discover has had warehouse clubs for quite some times but it depends on the time of year.
Other pretty standard categories that have been offered in the past have been Target, Amazon, Restaurants and Gas. Sometimes they also offer home improvement.

For new cardholders the last couple of years they have been doubling the cash back for the first year. Unfortunately I'm not sure if that is calendar year or when you signed up.

But when it aligns with your spending plan, it's a nice bonus.

Yes they started to be like Chase and then you have overlapping categories.

For Q3 I will have 5 cards that earn 5% on gas (3 Freedom's + 2 Discovers) in addition to my Sam's Club card that is good year round.
My only hope is Meijer continues to all the 10% gift card deals at gas stations otherwise I won't come close to maxing out the 5% for this quarter.

Thank you for mentioning the $20 off BJ's promo. I have a BJ's card to use when snowbirding in FL for the winter and because I do not have a BJ's anywhere near my state in the Midwest, I forget all about it. I read your post and immediately went to my BJ's and sure enough it was there. I actually bought a $500 card with a discount and used the $20 off and it came very close in the end to 10% off the total.
I want to thank you very much for your post. Appreciated very much. Will use toward Annual Pass renewal.

We have a BJs near us, but I already use Sams, so don't have a membership. BJ's base DGC prices, even currently on sale, aren't more than a few cents better than regularTarget red discounts ... but a enough of these types of coupons would definitely change the calculus. Sam's doesn't generallyoffer these types of "off the top" coupons.

Wells Fargo offer 15% off groceries, expires in like 6 days. Up to $15 back. They're also running a 20% off gas offer with a close exp.
I have a 10 percent back at Kroger AND a 15 percent back on groceries with my Wells Fargo card…I wonder if that would all work for one purchase at Kroger (ie buying one 100 dollar gift card)?

BJ's and Sam's both offer the discounted DGC but they are generally only 3-4% off compared to 5% from Target.
They both put the cards on sale every once in awhile although Sam's sales are generally better in the range of 7.5% off or better compared to around 6% at BJ's. Sam's has a hard limit although some have been able to get past the limits whereas BJ's does not limit the amount you can purchase.

They both count as "Warehouse Clubs" so when Chase Freedom/Freedom Flex or Discover offers warehouse clubs as a 5% category you can combine that with their lower price to get better value than at Target.

As far as coupons it is unfortunately random. I don't believe I have seen anyone know what their reasoning is. They are sort of similar to Target Circle offers. Sometimes people get great ones, so-so offers, just plain why bother offers and then there are those that don't even receive an offer.

I'm jealous of those with the $10 off $75 as my BJ's coupon was the $20 off $250. So with buying 3 $100 cards that are the highest percent off at 3.01% off face value plus the coupon I will be at $270.97 or 9.68% savings. So I will end up just short of 15% off as I will pay with V/MC that I bought with a Chase Ink Cash card from the sales at Staples/Office Depot/Office Max.

Thank you! Groupon has a BJs new membership promo for $30 for the base membership - but given I will be unlikely to shop at BJ's outside of gift cards, I am thinking it's not worth it for the potential to get a couple of extra coupons off throughout the year. Target provides a reliable source, and yes, when Sam's runs its $200 for $180 deal, I always buy the limit, and try to do it with a good cashback card.

Looking at the terms for the Freedom Flex right now - we have Chase Sapphire, but with Chase's plans effective in October, for UR points to no longer have a 1.25 or 1.5 conversion rate in the Chase portal, this might make sense as a downgrade option. Having an additional 5% cashback card for warehouse clubs would definitely be useful.

Keep an eye out. Or google. I got a bjs membership for $15 recently.
