Luggage tags

The porters will have tags that they can write your stateroom number on when you drop the bags off. So, it's okay if you don't have the pre-printed tags for each suitcase, anyway!
Does the person collecting luggage at a Disney resort or the Hyatt also have extra tags? I've never been short on tags in those situations, but that's because Disney always sent two per person before.

I don't know the answer to this as we've never done Disney transportation. I'm fairly certain that I've read that they do, though.

Can you actually get off in the middle of a cruise? (Assuming the chip shopped in Lisbon?)
Yes, you can, as long as it doesn't violate any laws, etc. You'd have to pre-arrange that with the cruise line, though, so they knew you were getting off the ship and not planning to get back on at that port.

(Yes, the TA did dock in Lisbon.)

Oddly, we got one per guest on our 2023 Wish cruise, but 2 on our 2025 Treasure cruise. IIRC for the Wish I just called them and they sent 4 more, no big deal. We were headed for WDW afterwards and needed the extra luggage...

I was wondering it it's DCLs "subtle" way of saying "We're expecting 1 bag per guest." I've seen people with multiple bags on cruises of less than 7 days.
I'm a firm believer in overpacking. I just really like options. If they ever go to 1 bag per guest I am going to need a steamer trunk ;)

Mystery Solved!. They sent a separate envelope to my grandkids address with their tags. I just assumed they would all come to me. My sister was a recent substitution for another family member that had to drop out, so I guess they didn't have her address so sent hers with mine.
I was about to post that. If some people reside at a different address tags will be sent there as well for that person.

I have also had tags stick together where it looks like one person didn't get them but they were just really stuck together. So always double check as they do get stuck together.

They might have been to WDW pre or post cruise and if coming from Europe we can stay for 2+ weeks at a time

I was going to ask if there was another address associated with your group. We had that happen on the Treasure when we sailed in January. There were me and DH in cabin, and our two adult sons (separate addresses) in the connecting cabin. We got mine and DH's luggage tags at our mailbox, but only one of our sons got his, and it was just for him. It was odd that the other one didn't get them. Well when we got home, I was looking at the stack of unopened mail in my son's apartment and there was his packet from DCH with his luggage tags! He just thought it was advertisements (we're DVC members and often get their sales solicitations), so he didn't bother to open it. Lesson learned. And it worked out because each son was only taking one bag so there were two tags for their cabin already.
