NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

That's a savvy idea! FWIW I am a Sam's Plus member and have also never been offered a sweetener at renewal time. But we get enough value out of our Sam's membership and the 2% Sam's Cash that I go ahead and pay the full renewal. I do like the idea of reupping the membership via discounted card. :earsboy:

Right! I'm not a big fan of Sam's Club though I know many here are. I just prefer Costco.

When it's time for you to renew, go in-store and ask if there's anything they can offer. If no, then call. We have had peeps post success stories with Sam's Club discounting their memberships at time of renewal.
Unfortunately not with Costco. :(

And anytime you get rewards money/check, always get the cash and deposit it into your account. You can then earn money on top of that when spending it. Think cashback websites, other cc offers & rewards. ::yes::

Great tip! All of my various credit card cash back goes directly into an interest earning account :thumbsup2 ... which helps us offset up to 25% of each Disney trip!

Unfortunately, Sam's Cash is proprietary as far as I know ... it only offsets purchases made at Sam's. (If anyone knows a way to use it outside of Sam's I'm all :earsboy: ) Regardless, I'll still take it! Last year, we effectively paid back the cost of our Plus membership after all the Sam's cash we acquired - racks up quickly if you use Sam's Tire Center or buy a large ticket item like a TV, etc. However, it DOESN'T rack up from buying discounted GCs through Sam's, and it cannot be used on GC purchases at Sam's. Womp womp.

Oh, that sucks!

I guess the moral of the story is to use up an offer ASAP. Sigh
We should have! We were in the highly unfortunate and highly unusual situation of DH having left his card at a restaurant ... we are still waiting on the new card ... I was going to pull the trigger on the offer as soon as it arrived. Bad timing all around!!

You just go into sams club customer service and cash it out. I actually go in and have it applied to my sams club credit card balance this way I do not lose the cash back on purchases by using the rewards to buy anything.

I actually came here to see if anyone posted / knows deals for Costco memberships as mine (executive) just expired.

They offered me nothing at the service desk nor did I receive an email promotion. Sam's Club offered $20 for a year but nothing from Costco.

Thanks friends!
Don't recall seeing any retention offers for Costco :(

Update - we had a similar offer on an Amex, but for Hyatt. Totally different hotel chain, totally different CC carrier ... and yet, when I went to look today, it was also gone, though expiration on that was not till Sept. So I strongly suspect hotel offers in particular, whatever the card, have redemption limits - I just was not aware. I don't make as much use of CC offers as I possibly could, since it's a pain to keep checking back and we rarely see CC offers that are worth it to that degree. Just, this time, I noticed it as it happened to be a hotel we already had a reservation for. 😒

So you are right, moral of the story is, you snooze, you lose!

Had you added the Amex offer? If you see one and think it could possibly be useful, add it because Amex offers are known to go away once a certain number of people have them.

Yes! Both of these offers were already added to our cards. I even screen shotted them to confirm. Both were removed from my accepted offers before expiration - in the Chase case, it was literally gone the day after we added it. I didn't realize that was a possibility, but now I definitely know, so I wanted to pass along the experience. The Chase rep didn't seem to be aware of the practice either, but I read that some of those offers are back ended by a single company and then distributed across multiple card carriers - so I have to think they have limits and can be pulled if limits are reached. I don't have proof of that, but it certainly seems to be what happened.

Of course, the cash back offers for AMARA scoopable colostrum and Omaha Steaks home delivery stay on there forever :earseek:🤦‍♀️

Oh wow, I hadn't heard of Amex offers disappearing once added. Thanks

I have Sam's, Costco & BJ's (even though BJ's are not in the Midwest). Costco has the best chicken & clothing, Sam's the very best gas prices and BJ's is small & fun to walk around. And great deli meat.

I like them all for various reasons though it IS frivilous to have all 3. BUT LOVE all 3 of them when they have Disney cards at larger percentage than Target during a very cool promotion. Pays the fees.

Good Morning! My BJ's Wholesale account had a $10 off any purchase of $75 or more coupon that I was able to clip and add to my account today! Seems to work on any Disney GC over $75 and expires June 22. Hope others got this coupon as well! :)
Ugh mine is $10 off $125. Seems like we're all valued differently and would love to know their algorithm 🤔
