Disney/Pixar's Elio

I heard that Disney/Pixar is gonna have a new movie called Elio that will debut in Summer 2025 and from what I learned about it so far Elio is supposed to be set in outer space and that's all I know from the trailer I saw. I think Elio will bring Disney/Pixar back to the way the movies were and become a hit when it debuts next year. Although no celebrity voice talent info has been released yet I wonder what celebrity voices Elio will have?

I think when Elio makes it's debut next year it will make Pixar strike gold and return Pixar to the tried and true formula that they once had and I think Elio will be a hit because even though Pixar has tried with Onward Soul and Luca Elio will do better than Brave Inside Out Toy Story 3 and Up and Elio might win an audience

They will definitely put a lot of effort into it. We will see what the result will be. I'd like to see it too, but it won't be for a while yet. It's still a long time until 2025

What I also could think Pixar is probably thinking that with Elio it won't become a failure like The Good Dinosaur was and when Elio does open in theaters next year it will attract the audience Pixar has been longing for

Think Pixar already had their comeback w/ "Elemental"- Grossed $500M, and audiences loved it !!

Elio is about a boy who is abducted by aliens who think he is the leader of earth. Here is a trailer with more information about the plot. Visually it looks amazing, and the story has potential.

I think beginning with Lightyear and now with Elio Disney/Pixar will begin developing ideas for more space-age related films. Because the space genre is now becoming huge in movies and TV and Elio just might fit in with the genre. I also think they took inspiration from the Disney Junior series Miles From Tomorrowland because from the preview Elio looks like Miles from that show

Just saw "Soul" again- first time on the big screen--- forgot how amazing this film is !!! Def one of Pixar's best !!

I think when Elio debuts in theaters next summer Disney/Pixar will have a winning success with it because it will break the record of Toy Story 4 and Disney will gain millions of dollars from Elio alone. After the failure of Lightyear and Onward and Soul Elio will be the movie that makes Pixar a hit company again

I learned a bit more on Disney/Pixar's upcoming Elio and it's supposed to debut in theaters June 20th just in time for Father's Day weekend and I think Elio will be a interesting hit because they have made some interesting new characters such as Elio's best friend named Glordan "pronounced Glor-dan" that's possibly a version of the name Gordon and will be one of the comedic characters of Elio. I think Elio will become a big hit that will make Pixar make quality movies again because aside from Elemental and Inside Out 2 and the failure of The Good Dinosaur Elio will be the animated hit of the summer

Father's Day is June 15, 2025, not June 22, 2025.

Disney is basically making this summer, the Summer of Stitch and Fantastic 4. Elio is just a mid June release with very minimal marketing push behind it

Disney just seems to want to put this out and it’ll just make whatever it can on word of mouth alone.

Yeah, it's too bad. Original fare needs more of a push these days!

Unfortunately the general audiences just aren’t turning out with regularity. Would rather spend their $$ on something they know and are familiar with and save the originals for home viewing.

Unless an original is given glowing reviews and word of mouth it’s mostly DOA.

Oh, I know. And yet, people constantly complain about endless sequels and franchise films.

This might do okay with the younger set. Disney just needs to market it. Hopefully before Stitch there will be a trailer. That's a big audience to promote the film to. I don't know the summer schedule but it feels like there won't be a lot of family friendly stuff in the month of June.
