Hello,

Does anyone know how Disney issues a refund when multiple payment forms have been used? Do they go off the most recent one or each amount to their individual payment form? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that the amount gets refunded to the payment method that was used. So, for example if you used multiple Disney gift cards, then they would refund the amount back to each of the gift cards used. Same if you used multiple credit cards.

I've never had to ask for a refund, so the above is what I'm remembering what others have posted here before.

I know on the parks side they go back to each payment method, I can't imagine the DCL side being different.

If you used a credit card/debit card, it's up to the bank to process and release it...and some are faster than others.

It goes to each payment form that was used. And don't be surprised if it comes back in multiple funky amounts. The totals should be correct but it won't be one large chunk refunded to each form.

We had to cancel a few times during Covid due to exposure - all payments went back to the individual credit cards used. And it did come back in crazy amounts - not at all like I had paid in.

Refunds are one in reverse order of any payments. For example, if you pay deposit via credit card, and make subsequent payments (in this order) by cash, gift card A, credit card 1, gift card B, gift card C, credit card2, refunds would show up on credit card 2 first (up to the amount that card had on it when used), then gift card 3 (in the amount of that card), gift card 2 (same - up to how much that card originally had on it), and so on.
