***Official July 2025 Thread***

I just stumbled across this thread! We will be arriving on 7/11 - Staying BWI CL. I am working on plans for LL's and just need to verify...I am thinking that our booking date is 7/5? Or would it be 7/4? Counting back 7 days, I'm not sure if the arrival date counts, LOL

If you go to MDE and try to purchase LLs it will spit out the date and time you’re eligible. We arrive on the 14th so for us it’s the 7th for LLs. HTH

This morning was our lightning lane day and I think it went great! I was able to get everything I was aiming to get and I even had flexibility with times. For context, we’re a party of 11. 8 adults and 3 children aged 9, 6, and 4 months.

Our current rundown for our trip:

7/9: Magic Kingdom
9:40am: Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
10:40am: Barnstormer
2:00pm: Peter Pan’s Flight
(I could have scheduled that one earlier but we have a 12pm reservation for Crystal Palace)

7/10: EPCOT
Not doing LLs since we have 2 table service dining scheduled, Biergarten and Shiki-Sai. First time for both. May schedule an individual one for Guardians, though

7/11: Hollywood Studios
10:00am: Alien Swirling Saucers
2:10pm: Toy Story Mania
2:55pm: Slinky Dog Dash
(Again, there were earlier times for both Slinky Dog and Toy Story, but we have an 11:45am Fantasmic package lunch at Hollywood and Vine)

7/12: Free Day

7/13: Animal Kingdom

8:20am: Na’vi River Journey
9:10am: Kilimanjaro Safaris
11:20am: Expedition Everest
(Possibly hop to a different park in the afternoon)

7/14: Hollywood Studios (really a wherever you want day but my nephew loves Slinky so have to hit that twice)
9:00am: Alien Swirling Saucers
9:50am: Slinky Dog Dash
10:45am: Toy Story Mania

I got in yesterday and ngl. It’s so dead here that I would not stress out too badly over LLs. I’ve barely needed any today. Standby waits are low enough that I could have gotten away with no LLMP today at MK. I haven’t waited more than 15 minutes for anything standby.

Tron is definitely still worth it but other than that it’s been largely unnecessary.

We'll be at Kidani July 23-27 for my DD's birthday. I'm excited that we're bringing a fairly 'new-to-Disney' person. We're all excited about Test Track reopening and the new parade, but a bit scared of the crowds this will bring! :crowded: :scared:

Huge kudos to Disney for how easy it is to modify plans & resort stays. Became overzealous & FOMO with our plans since I have no clue when we'll return. First, booked a split stay of 4-4 AKL & WL. Then, SSR villa stay for the length of the trip. Next, was a triple split stay of 2-3-3 Helios, BWI, Poly. Have no idea what the heck I was thinking here . Finally, came back to reality with no take backs now since it's now too late to change without penalty. Which, honestly, is a huge relief. Booked Coronado Springs Resort July 12th- July 20th. Next up LLs on July 5th.

LL day went well. No Animal Kingdom visit planned due to first visit to Universal/Islands/Epic planned. Have Disney’s Hollywood Studios After Hours admission; no LL needed there. Definitely sleeping in a bit = no early entry/rope drop, hence LL for Epcot & Magic Kingdom.

Epcot ~ 10:15am Guardians /
11:15am Spaceship Earth / 12:15pm The Land / 3:15pm Frozen *No Remy’s or Mission Space planned due to screen motion sickness.

Magic Kingdom ~ 10:15am Peter Pan / 11:15am Haunted Mansion / 12:15pm Mine Train / 1:10pm Pooh / 9:00pm Tron
*No Tiana’s aka Tsunami Adventure since Disneyland’s version gave me a souvenir ear infection. No Space aka Scary Mountain planned since we don’t like the seating and contorting into turtles since we’re tall.

ADRs: Le Cellier, The Boathouse, Ohana, Liberty Tree Tavern, & Raglan Road. First timers to all,
except Ohana.

Have credit card size ponchos prepared with the weather predicting rain daily. Happy planning to others.

I suffer from motion sickness too! Very curious to hear how it goes at Epic. I've been hearing that some of the screens are not as bad as Forbidden Journey.

Have you ever ridden Guardians of the Galaxy?

Refuse to ride Forbidden Journey in Universal Hollywood. I'm so glad I did. Riders coming out of that exit, definitely some green faces & magic dust. When we were in Universal Hollywood, I sat out majority of all the screen rides. The Studio Tour that had King Kong and Fast & The Furious screens that made me sick where I had to take off the glass and look down at my feet. I get extreme vertigo on escalators, so I walk down all those stairs and up all the stairs in Hollywood to avoid them.

Never ridden Guardians. I chickened out on Guardians last year. So, I'm going to try it. Was told to keep my head back and straight where you don't look around. Mickey's Runaway Railroad I'm good (with the cliff/waterfall scene I look down at the ground), but Remy's did me in for a bit riding it for the first time. Going to try Ministry of Magic because it looks like Tower of Terror seating, so I think I'll be ok. :scared:

Hiii, so I haven’t posted in a very long time. We’re headed to the Riviera in 12 days (7/21) and I have a bit of an issue that I could use some guidance on.

I’ve never used the new multi pass system. We went to DL & Aulani last year instead 😬
I’m due to make our LL on Monday (7/14).
I’m traveling with my parents, but they arrive the day after us (7/22). I can’t make their LL selections until Tuesday (7/15).
Even though our tickets are dated for the 7/23, Disney told me that doesn’t matter.

So my question is do I make all the LL for the 3 of us on Monday then make all of my parents LL on Tuesday and hope they’re close enough to overlap? OR defer and make them all together on Tuesday and hope for the best?
Thank you so much 😊

I take it your parents are staying in a separate room? I personally would make everything on Tuesday. That's still a significant advantage so I don't think you'd have trouble getting anything. Unless there's a particular hard to get LL that you need at a certain time or it would make or break your day?

Thank you!
They are staying in their own room, the reservations are noted that we’re “traveling together.” I also have them all linked in my MDE already.

My husband suggested to make our Epcot morning LL so we can try for Test Track then do the days after my parents leave bc we’re staying 3 extra days. Then make our remaining days together on Tuesday.

I’ve never used this new system before so I’m nervous about how awful or limited it is to book things.
