Hello :)

I had to reschedule last year trip to this fall so hopefully this year is the year! So I may be out of the loop with details. I have a dilemma between choosing HILTON TOKYO BAY VS TOY STORY HOTEL.
The cost difference is about $1100 usd >_< I love toy story so it is hard to choose for their hotel being more expensive..all I know is for fall they don't have happy entry for disney sea..please assist.
As much as I would love to stay at toy story..that $1100 increase is something..and not sure if inwould regret it..like that could go towards flight upgrade, souvenirs, disney passes, food

Additional info
Party of 7 traveling - 2 rooms, 2 teenagers
Spending 3 days for disney parks
Are those disney hotels beds like usa queen beds?
Would I be missing out a lot if I stay with hilton hotel?

Many thanks!

The only question I'll take a shot at are the bed sizes. They're not going to be US queen size - more twin size. The beds at the TDR resorts (and Asia in general) are smaller than we're used to in the US.

I'll add one opinion - I'd probably save the money and do the Tokyo Hilton instead of TS. You'll still need transportation (like the monorail, which is very simple to navigate) from either.

Thanks lol! The bed sizes in toy story worry me lol. Would be nice if they can put 4 beds. I saw other disney hotels that have 3 beds or 4 beds? I don't think I'm gonna even try to look at those if toy story is value cost lol

Some have the trundle beds which are stored under a bed and can be rolled out for sleeping at night. Just be sure to differentiate between the terms 'twin' and 'double' with the beds over there.

Ohh I was not aware what trundle bed meant. I thought it was another fancy term for twin double bed or something. Appreciate it :)

Ok am I dumb I thought that was pull down bed.
Under tv it's pull down bed right?
Wouldn't the trundle bed be visible here? I just see 2 beds and pull down
In that picture it may hold 4 beds, the 2 twin beds, the one that folds down from under the TV, and a trundle which would be kept underneath one of the twins and out of sight when not in use

Stayed at Toy Story Hotel last month and Keetchino is right there are 4 beds in the room including the fold down from under the TV and the trundle bed.

We had 3 adults in the room. It didn't even cross our mind to try sleeping on the fold down bed - if I don't remember wrongly, it's not a full size bed so would not have been comfortable for any of us. We took the 2 beds + trundle, and each bed really does only sleep one person - definitely much smaller than the queen beds you would get in WDW that can sleep two people.

Can't comment on the Hilton, but have stayed at the Sheraton Grande (many years ago) and from my recollection the room there was much larger with bigger beds than the Toy Story Hotel.

I would personally save the money and put it towards paid Premier Access tickets, food, souvenirs, etc in the parks. Unless you are planning on spending a lot of time at the hotel.

The Hilton Tokyo Bay is a great hotel and conveniently located close to the monorail. It also has a 7-11-type convenience store. I can't remember which one it is, but it's great for snacks (although it can be extremely crowded after the parks have closed).

Did you happen to stay a lot of time at hotel? I'm trying to see how ppl stay in hotel vs being in the parks. Bc if ur there aren't u there to make the most of your valued time at the parks lol

I've stayed at both and prefer the Hilton, especially if the Toy Story Hotel is more expensive.

With more people in a room, the advantage of the Hilton is that you can book a bigger room with more space if needed. The advantage at the Toy Story Hotel is that the shower and sink are separated so one person can shower while another brushes their teeth. Beds at the Hilton are larger and firm while the Toy Story Hotel beds are VERY firm but the trundle can be helpful for the additional people.

If you use Happy Entry at Disneyland, you could get on Beauty and the Beast in the morning without waiting too long which would be fair to value at about the price of DPA for that attraction. And if you have a bit of time on your check-in our check-out day to wander around the hotel, there's many fun places to take photos at the Toy Story Hotel which you can't access if you're not staying there.

If you're the type to buy food from the hotel convenience store after returning from the parks, the Lawson at the Hilton has more things that I like than the convenience store at the Toy Story Hotel.

No. We're all day in the parks kind of Disney fans. So, in line an hour or so before opening and in the parks until close (or later if the shops are still open on the way out).

On a more recent trip with our child, we did come back to the hotel for a midday rest. But, we're not actually "enjoying" or "exploring" the hotel at that time. The convenience store in the foyer was excellent for grabbing snacks while our child napped.
