AK Wild Africa Trek 8:45am or 10:15am?

I'm thinking of booking the Wild Africa Trek during our November trip to have a new experience in the park.

I wanted to book the 10:15am tour so we can enjoy EE and do a few rides before the tour, however, when reading reviews and suggestions, it seems like everyone says to book the first tour. Since we are going in November, the weather shouldn't be brutally hot and I'm more concerned with animal activity.

Has anyone done a 10ish time tour slot for this tour? Or should I just try and book the earliest tour?

We did the 11:45 tour in February (it was the only slot I could get) and had the same worry, but we had a great tour! I can't compare to the activity that may have happened earlier in the day, but we were very happy with our experience! Attaching some of our photos here.

Great pictures! They make me more comfortable keeping my original plans of rides and then tour at 10:15am!

We did the 10:45 2 years ago and had good animal interactions (In fact we got stopped for about 15 minutes by a couple of giraffs that were hanging in he roadway (great photo op!)

We did the 10:45 am tour in January. The animal interactions were good, but it happened to be an exceedingly hot day, and all the gear you have to wear does not make it any cooler. We were done for the day when the tour was over!

Good to know. I think my Early Entry planned followed by the 10:15 tour is looking like the best route. That way we can get some stuff before the tour and then take a break after.
